Our Mission:

EHM is dedicated to:

  • Providing quality biblical training through our Bible Institute (called Instituto Bíblico Misionero Ecuatoriano in Ecuador, or IBME)

  • Strengthening local churches by equipping leaders to be spiritually grounded, culturally relevant, and personally effective

  • Empowering economically disadvantaged students to serve their communities through faith and action

Lloyd & Linda Rogers

Lloyd and Linda Rogers have been dedicated missionaries in Ecuador since 1967. They spent many years serving in the Amazon jungle, supporting and encouraging believers across more than 40 villages. Even today, they continue to visit these areas, strengthening faith and community among those they’ve served for so long. Currently, they live near Quito, Ecuador, where they remain a source of inspiration and encouragement for the Bible Institute and the local church.

Dan & Nikki Rogers

Dan Rogers grew up in Ecuador as the youngest of four children, born to Lloyd and Linda Rogers. He married Nikki in 1995, and together they moved to Ecuador in 1998. They have two adult children who now live in the U.S. Dan is a dedicated teacher at the Bible Institute and serves as an elder at the local church in Pomasqui, Ecuador, where he continues to positively impact the lives of many.

Nelson & Mirian

Nelson, originally from Jamaica, and Mirian, from Ecuador, currently serve as the cooks in the Bible Institute kitchen, where they create a warm and welcoming environment for the students. Their work and service often go beyond just preparing meals, to offering support and encouragement as they form friendships with the students.

Jose, Jackeline, & Zoe Yépez

Jose and Jackeline have been faithfully serving the Lord together since their marriage in 2017. Both graduates of the Bible Institute, they are deeply committed to pouring into the lives of young people who are eager to grow in their faith. Jose currently serves as the director of IBME, where he also teaches classes. Together, Jose and Jackeline’s goal is to guide young adults toward a clear understanding of the Scriptures and equip them to become dedicated servants in their local churches.

Stefanny Zanafria

Stefanny is from a small town near Baños, Ecuador, where she first encountered Jesus as her Savior. Her faith journey has been one of deep trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. After graduating from the Bible Institute, Stefanny felt called to serve and mentor the young women studying at the same institution. With a heart dedicated to guiding and supporting them, she leads by example, showing them what it looks like to trust in the Lord through all seasons of life.

Josué Tigsilema

Josué is a dedicated to serving and leading the young men studying in the Bible Institute. In addition to his work at IBME, Josué also contributes to the children’s and youth ministries at his local church located north of Quito. His passion for serving extends beyond his formal roles, as he strives to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and the broader community. Josué has earned a bachelor’s degree in film and performing arts, and certificates in executive production and biblical counseling. Through his diverse background and faith-driven mission, he seeks to combine his skills and passions to honor God and serve others.

Luis, Claudia, Cesia, & Daniel Panduro

Claudia came to Ecuador from Argentina in 2001 as a missionary, and later Luis arrived in 2005 from Peru to study at the Bible Institute. They married in 2009 and are blessed with two children, Cesia and Daniel. Luis is now a professor at the Bible Institute and plays an active role in leadership and discipleship at their local church. Together, Luis and Claudia oversee the area of student life at the Bible Institute.

Cristhian Roldán

Cristhian is a dedicated member of the team at IBME, where he serves in various roles, including leading music, counseling men, and guiding others in following the Lord. He felt a strong calling from God to serve Him and has witnessed His faithfulness in opening doors at the Bible Institute. With a passion for worship, Cristhian expresses his faith through music, whether playing instruments or leading others in song. His commitment to spiritual growth and service to others makes him a valuable part of the IBME staff.

Nelly Rios

Nelly is from Argentina and serves at the Ecuadorian Missionary Bible Institute, where she works closely with women studying the Bible and disciples two of them. She finds joy in learning from God's Word alongside them. In addition to her role as a resident assistant, Nelly also oversees part of the maintenance area. Grateful for the opportunity to serve, she is committed to her calling of full-time ministry, dedicated to God's work until His return.

Patricio, Rosa, Jair, Keila, & Santiago Chimbo

Since 2002, Patricio and Rosa have been serving with “Ecuador for Christ.” They have a heart for solid Bible teaching and nurturing the growth of local churches. Patricio teaches several classes at the Bible Institute, while Rosa serves as a secretary for the IBME and the mission “Ecuador Para Cristo.” They are also actively involved in teaching and serving at the local church in Pomasqui, as well as at Patricio’s home church in Arajuno.
